Is it time to revive this thread yet? Uncannily, no one’s posted in this for almost a month now!

Definitely time to revive thread! I am guessing decisions going out this Friday, March 23. Don’t they always mail out on a Friday? Good luck everyone! Please post and let everyone know if you get in. Will do the same for my daughter.

I’m assuming that’s when they’re coming out! Barnard Admissions posted on Facebook a while back that they would start sending out decisions the third week of March - that’s this week!

Let’s try to keep this thread going until the decisions come out! Anyone unable to wait any longer!?

I can’t deal with the uncertainty! Does anyone know for sure that decisions are being mailed out this Friday? Or is that still just a rumor?

That makes two of us

Everything I have read via various sources says third week. The admission office, however, says very end of March, first of April. I know they took the accepted student link down (bummer)! They say they will repost April 1. That was a really nice little trick to find out early. I also noticed on the financial aid portal now has award year posed next to your name when you log in. I am taking that as a good sign!!!

I actually don’t think the current award year is a sign of anything - just for filing purposes probably, as much as I want to cling to any hope :(

Does anyone have the link to the admitted students page that was taken down?

Also bad news. I called admissions today and they told me they would be mailing out decisions towards the end of March/beginning of April :(

I called the admissions office today! They told me that letters were being mailed out EITHER TOMORROW OR FRIDAY. I’m in CT, so I might be getting mine as early as Saturday. Ahhhhhh!!

I think we can expect the accepted students link to come up as soon as they send the letters, can someone post it as soon as they find it?

Ahhhhhhh!!! I can’t even breathe I’m so excited/nervous for the decisions! I check this thread every half hour for more news and updates… Good luck everyone!

Oh my god! So there’s hope that we’ll finally get our letters soon!! I was SO disappointed when they told me they were mailing them late this year

Eeeep I’m so stressed now! In a kind of good way, I guess. Barnard and Brandeis are my top choices, but Brandeis gave me completely unworkable financial aid (sad face) so I really hope Barnard comes through! I live in MA so I’m hoping it’ll be here by Saturday? I don’t want to wait until Monday!

I live in NJ and that means I will get the letter by this Saturday! I truly cannot forecast the result since only 2-3 seniors from my high school were accepted into Barnard in past 6-7 years.

It is my first choice and my GPA is not super high but I do have the legacy factor and 2350 SAT scores( 800 M, 750 Reading, 800 Essay). Keeping my fingers crossed…

I called admissions today again, to ask if decisions would go out this week and they said it was unlikely and that they will be mailing letters at the end of March/early April (which is what they told me a few days ago when I called) :(

I think that it depends on the person that answers the phone. My mom called and they told her today or tomorrow, along with the other person who posted that previously. But when I called they said what you heard. I think that some of them are trying to keep it a secret and others don’t really mind telling.

Does anyone if all decsions are sent regular mail? I thought I read on a thread at one time that acceptances were sent in an express envelope and waitlist and denials were sent regular mail. Does anyone know if this is accurate?

Does anyone know what the package looks like (normal envelope, big package, etc.)?

Again, for the past 7 years, acceptances come in Express mail envelopes (large, red-white-and blue ); rejections in regular mail envelopes. internationals get e-mails.

Best to you all!

^^^^^^thank you!
