Benazir Bhutto - A Champion, A Leader, My Hero

All I can say is, from what I see, all the people arguing for the other side are narrow minded people whom are not educated well enough to actually argue in a humanly fashion. They all act like a bunch of animals getting angry over nothing.

As for me having no valid points or whatever you said, I could say the exact same to you. None of your posts your being the muslim people here (I assume) have made any convincing or valid points. Basically the whole time all you can think of was maybe 1 little exaggerated example of 1 person. THAT PROVES MY POINT!!!!! I NEVER SAID THERE AREN'T ANY WOMEN BEING TREATED UNEQUALLY. I SAID THERE ARE TOO FEW TO MATTER. By only being able to provide 1 example, you have shown that 1 out of 7billion people are treated unfairly. You have no other basis for any of your other points if you even have any points at all. Over half of your posts are uncivilized flaming.

I on the other hand, used reasoning and logic. If your mind is too small to think logically, I'm sorry.

"During Bhutto'stenure, Amnesty International accused Pakistan of having one of the worst records of extrajudicial killings, torture and custodial deaths, and in 1996 Transparency International named the country the second most corrupt in the world."

Postcard: Pakistan - TIME

And u§ername I AM MUSLIM. There is no such thing as ISLAMS, And im damn sure there are millions of muslims smarter than you so i would appreciate if you wouldn't talk about other people's religions.

I'm sure of that too, sheed. I'm just tired of of these people.....

sorry if I've offended anyone again... i'll go delete that part.

well.... I won't say millions. that depends on how many there are which i don't know, so I'm not sure about millions. but i'm sure ALOT of them are much smarter than me.

however, smart and being civilized are two different things.

Also I'm sure there are also alot of muslims who are better than me in every way.

Ther are a billion muslims i'm sure the top .001 percent is smarter than you. Anyways, let's not talk about religion. None of this has to do with what religion people are.

i'm sure probably at least the top 1%. more likely the top 10-15% but who cares. there's always people smarter than you.

Fatty Lumpkin. That's all i have to say for the time being.

Quote - "I on the other hand, used reasoning and logic. If your mind is too small to think logically, I'm sorry."

Username, you seem to be the most idiotic person that I have ever met. You will never ever dare to insult my religion of peace, Islam. You have offended every single person on this thread and your boring comments are so useless and bland. I won't waste my time typing up how wrong you are because that would take at least 30 years. And are we a bunch o animals? You see to be even more minute than an animal. You seem to be a particle of nothing, lol. You are a true embarrassment to this CC community. All of my posts have been backed up by proof. Whether they are articles, from news stations, stories that I have heard or seen from many of my visits to the Islamic world, or detailed research, they have all stated my claims. It i8s pointless to argue with you, as many people, and I have said and keep on saying. Your childish behavior and immature comments are not intimidating to the least bit. Rather, they are immensely comical. You have no reasoning and logic whatsoever. You claim to have backed up your posts, when you have not to the least bit. You have stated your claims, and you've backed up everything with your own opinions, not facts BUT OPINIONS. No one wants to sit and listen to your worthless opinions and your irrational claims. Frankly, I don't care. And you are saying that the sexism in the world is too few too matter? Wait, just like I've done to your other vague, foolish comments, I'll rephrase this one again. You mean, you do not care. And ask me, do I show any concern for your thoughts? NO. Not only are they foolish and comical, they are immature, unreasonable, and make absolutely no sense at all. I will not say anything to you further because you seem too young and boring. However, please gain some intellect. Please. Pretty Pretty Please. lol. You could really use it. My comments to your are over, because there is no point in wasting time over you - you are too insignificant and worthless.

looks like you just did.

@Sheed - First of all, one of the few, wait, sorry the ONLY VALID point that the idiot on this thread [username] said was this is turning into a vulgar argument. Secondly, Shariah doesn't give women the status of an animal but some of the countries of the Islamic world do so. When I said that we look at Saudi Arabia to interpret Islamic Law, I meant it in the sense that people look at Saudi Arabia - the primary Islamic kingdom - as how Islam treats women and they'll assume that Islam treats women in a negative manner if they see the women in S.A. being treated like that. Also, besides username - which qualifies as a particle of nothing [worse than a piece of dirt, LMAO] - everyone has agreed in saying they liked her, she was a hero, a good leader, and a champion. Her husband mishandled money and that is why the blame went to her. Also, it says that the country - not Benazir, but the country was corrupt. Also, the country was in that situation just like it always has been. There is no proper government, and this even happened all the time during Musharraff's reign [1999-now]. Therefore, we cannot blame her and besides, she was a good leader. Many people liked her and still do. And every news agency I have read, even 2 weeks before the elections, has said the Pakistan People's Party will win. Why? Because of what she fought for and stood for - democracy. Most of the Pakistanis - and everybody I know loved her. Only some of the people in Pakistan - the people in the North [by Afghanistan] do not like her because she is a woman. However, she was a great person - very smart and leader-like - and she died as a martyr for Pakistan.

either there's something really wrong with that statement, or there's something really wrong with you. I'm willing to bet it's the latter.

Islam is religion of peace. It is derived from the Arabic word "salam" which means peace. There are people who use it's anme for doing injustice, ill give you that

@ballin4ever....i never to know whether to refer to you as a girl or guy, which one are you?

And still...the fact that Pakistan was that messed up doing her rule was something. Amnesty international never said Pakistan was that messed up before, or after that. And if her Husband was really that corrupt was she really that blind as to let him take over the People's Party in her Will? If she knew, she could have put another person without such a terrible history as the leader. As a matter of fact, people were so against him, he turned to his 19 year old son to take over after he finishes his schooling.

And i am definitely not a fan of Musharraf, so i'm not talking about that.

You are seriously saying that the people in North Pakistan dislike her for the sole reason that she is a women? That's a pretty bad claim, and im sure you know that's BS.

That's definitely not true.

listen username: did u read my post? if u didn't please read it...not just skim it.....it will help you..I guarantee.

@Sheed: Islam doesn't have a direct meaning that means "peace". Islam originally means "submission to God"
Peace is associated w/ Islam....a derived meaning.

O, yea. and you claimed that

yet, everything you wrote is hearsay since you haven't provided even one link during this entire thread. you named sources and experiences but we haven't SEEN any proof with our eyes..

asif, i know that it literally means submission to god.

Asif, these all prove the salam thing i just wrote.

oops. something definitely glitched....my bad.

asifkhan, I actually skipped your post because there are so many long posts in here and as ballin has said my posts were "comical" I feel the same way, and to this thread and thus I mostly only read his.

I have gone back and read parts of your post. I sincerely thank you for sharing your opinion in a civilized manner. It's not about being right or wrong - chances are I am wrong. But it's about communicating your thoughts and opinions which you have done cleanly. again I thank you for that.

also, you did not offend me in any way, as did anyone else here, because i don't get offended by random strangers on the internet...

I get it now.

Sheed30:

What is Islam? In Islam, Peace is Based on Submission & Surrender to God - But Peace and Justice Cannot Exist on the Basis of Submission & Surrender

and from one of the links you just sent me:
The name of this religion, Islam, is derived from the Arabic word "salam," which is often interpreted as meaning "peace." However "submission" would be a better translation.
Read the link I sent you. You can ask a native Arabic Speaker who has a lot of knowledge on Arabic Language to be sure what the word islam "primarily" stands for!!

ballin4ever says

I have never seen anybody's death so popular - and that shows that she was such a popular and beloved political figure.
Bhutto was a good person, however, you cannot say you "have never seen anybody's death so popular." MLK and Gandhi were large figures, even more popular than Bhutto, but I wouldn't mind comparing her to those two great legends.
