Berkeley Sorority Reputations?

I know, I know. “You shouldn’t like a sorority based on reputation. Go check it out yourself.” Except I’m doing Spring Rush, which is informal, so I don’t have time to go to all the houses and not all the houses do Spring Rush anyways. I don’t care whether the sorority is “top tier” or “bottom tier” but how the girls are, what kinds of social events they have (not turnt), and how much they party (turnt).

I only know one or two girls in three different houses so it’s difficult to schedule and pick which sororities I want to visit during Spring Rush. I’m fairly chill overall and honestly want to join a sorority more for (this sounds so cliche but I’m being serious) the sisterhood and not parties or frat boys.

Alpha Omicron Pi has a fairly decent reputation, not many incidents in recent years.

Be warned about hazing though, even if some greek societies say there is no hazing, there can still be rush events that involve humiliating, embarrassing events that aren’t life threatening.

Panhellenic sorority rush events will not involve hazing. If they did, the sorority would be closed down.
