Haven't used BART of our bus system in months... so anyone kind enough to give me some instructions on how to get to SFO from Berkeley?

Thanks!

[BART - QuickPlanner Result](http://www.bart.gov/schedules/quickplanner.aspx?orig=DBRK&addr1=&dest=SFIA&addr2=&type=departure&date=today&time=now)

Its easy. Takes about an Hour.

You want to take the SF/SFO/Millbrae BART train. If that one isn’t running (and it doesn’t run too often from Berkeley), take the Fremont train. You’ll have to transfer at MacArthur, but it’s a timed transfer, meaning the BART going to SFO will be waiting right there across the platform for you when you arrive at MacArthur.

So…

SF/SFO/Millbrae BART (will bring you to SFO)

or

Fremont BART (transfer at MacArthur…which is something like 2-4 stops from Berkeley). Then it’ll bring you to SFO.

You might think about flying out of Oakland if possible. There’s a shuttle from the Coliseum BART station to the airport, and the fare is much lower. It’s like a $5 surcharge if you go to SFO. Plus, OAK is a shorter ride from campus.

I always use the rockridge bart to avoid the transfer at MacArthur. Take 51B to the end of the line down college and the station is right there.
