Berkeley Transfer Supplement

I received my letter from Berkeley yesterday, and it directed me to their transfer supplement forms.

I'm having difficulty filling out the IGETC form, and I was hoping someone who has seen the same form can help me out.

All the course information is set up for college information, but I took the LOTE (Language Other than English) portion of the IGETC during high school. I checked the box under the table that says "I completed 2 years of the same foreign language in high school with letter grades of "C" or higher for each semester." Do I leave the LOTE portion of the form above it blank?

It seems to be set up for college courses. 2 years of a foreign language in highschool is 4 semester grades, and there's only room for 3 if I try to fit it into that section of the form.

Does anyone have any experience with this form? Thanks!

Bumping this thread because I have the same question. Do we simply check the box underneath the Language other than English (LOTE) section which applies to us (completed 2 years of same foreign language in high school w/ C or better or completed 3 years of same foreign language in high school w/ C or better) and leave the boxes for course title, number, college/university name, term, etc blank?

I’ll give a second bump. I have the exact same problem.

(You’d think a form shoved at thousands of people each year would be designed in a sensical way.)

same question here

So I called Cal’s admissions office or w/e last week.

The lady on the other end told me that it’s enough to simply check off the box. She said, too, that if you want to simply list the class names and the school you took them at, to feel free and do that . . . and same goes to simply listing the classes and respective grades in the comments section below.

For Transfer applicants from a CC,
I was wondering whether there was an email from Berkeley that wanted you to fill out a supplement or whether you just followed down the thank-you letter from Berkeley to fill out the supplement.
I wanna find out whether, Berkeley gives its on-the-fence transfer applicants direct emails to fill out their supplements like their on-the-fence freshmen applicants.
