<p>What do you guys think of USD ... for someone interesting in business management? I'm interested in the quality of the program, and how easy/difficult it is to get admitted.</p>

<p>For the best education, I'd vote for UCSD. If you want a more LAC-ish feel with a much smaller student body, check out USD. If you want a school where there's always a party, go to SDSU.</p>

<p>there are also the other ones like national and alliant. but ucsd is by far the best in the area.</p>

<p>USD is a good school in its own right. One of the grad students in the English department at Duke went to USD for undergrad (she also got into Yale and Chicago's English PhD programs!). She says faculty often confuse it with UCSD, though.</p>

<p>UCSD is by far the best University in San Diego. Other Universities that are in San Diego but are not held in such high regard but are also good universities are USD and SDSU. Of course if we go into law schools, then USD, Cal Western, and Thomas Jefferson are located in SD. For med school, UCSD is extremely difficult ot get into. SDSU has a good business school, however UCSD just opened their business school, so i would imagine it will be the highest regarded business school in SD very soon.</p>

<p>If we are talking undergraduate, then UCSD for poli sci (surprisingly its nationally ranked). UCSD has opened a new business school but only for graduate students (mba) which caters towards the areas biotech/ IT technology management.</p>

<p>Incorrect. UC San Diego is in La Jolla, but La Jolla is a neighborhood of San Diego - located entirely within the San Diego city limits.</p>
