So I have a choice to have no class on Tuesdays or Thursdays next semester? Which day would be more useful? Thanks for any help.

They’re both in the middle of the week, so I’d say there’s not really a difference. If it’s a choice between two different classes/teachers, I would put more emphasis on that than the day of the week.

I have both off right now, and it’s awesome!

But if I had to choose, I’d pick Thursdays. You’re so worn out by Friday that having extra time on Thursday makes you feel better. (unless you work all day, of course)

One good thing about having Tuesdays off is that you have a little extra time to get any work done for the week that you didn’t do over the weekend. For instance, sometimes I’d schedule a lab for Thursday over Tuesday so that I could write the lab report on Tuesday. Or if I had a test on Wednesday, I had the extra day on Tuesday to study.

Alternatively, some people like to have more work in the beginning of the week so they can get it over with earlier on. You might also have the option of making a long weekend for yourself, if you skip class on Friday or if your Friday classes get cancelled for some reason.

Also, if there are different final times for the class, that’s something to consider as well. I liked to have final times earlier in the week so I could finish and go home, but your school might do finals differently.
