This is much worse than being kicked out of the B1G or receiving NCAA’s death penalty due to lack of institutional control. <p>A phone call probably wasn’t the best way for the Trustees to handle Paternos dismissal.</p>

<p>Resigning with immediate effect would have spared the trustees the need to ask Paterno to call in to hear his fate. It could also have avoided the degenerate scenes shown in ESPN.</p>
