Just heard back tonight! I was accepted into Harpur! Iām an OOS student with the following stats:
GPA : 3.84 (unweighted); 4.6 (weighted)
SAT : 1390
Major : Undeclared/Undecided
Additionally, I have what I would consider fairly strong extracurricular activities, leadership positions, and volunteer experience.
Iām hoping to be selected for Scholarās (but not expecting anything). I am also hoping to be awarded some merit aid. Does anyone know when scholarships are announced? Or are they just included in your acceptance package if you received one?
Weāre waiting on SOM. Why do you think no news is good news? Have they sent deferrals and rejections?
@Jackgarage, Iām an OOS student (from Maryland) and I heard back today around 7:30pm. Good luck! Iām sure youāll hear news soon!
@jkdlle3213
GPA(unweighted): 93.57
SAT: 1430
3 APās, All Honors
Out of State
Lots of volunteer experience and extracurriculars
I heard that Bing only sends out acceptances at the beginning. Deferrals and rejections for EA are sent a bit late.
Same here. Waiting anxiously.
Did some quick reads on prior year threadsā¦ Deferrals will be sent in January.
Start feeling not as confident now, mostly due to in-state status and low-90s GPA. Alas, 1500+ SAT not giving much edge in this case.
Oh man, I applied to Watson and havenāt heard back yet. Iām a little nervous now.
Is it safe to say that they will only be releasing decisions once a week? or do you think they would ever send out any decisions twice in a week?
