Biochemistry majorrr[:

How difficult is it to maintain a 3.8-3.9 in a science major at UF? ..pretty difficult I'm guessing, but just curious.

Depends on how smart you are and what your work ethic is. It wouldn’t mean anything if it was easy to do.

If you want to be at the top, be prepared to love the library. I’ve put in almost 80 hours of work in the last week (I’m not a pure science major, I’m a nuke engineer)

Going to be loving the library for sure! Thank you for the feedback [:

My brother was initially a biochem major and he had a 3.5 while keeping up with his 1 year old daughter at the time he decided to switch his major (in his 3rd year at UF) to polisci. I know that he likes to party a lot too, so I’d say it’s attainable if you stay focused.

Cool Dnerd. I won’t ever have to take English again if I get at least a 3 in AP Lit this year. That should help a lot in focusing on the sciences too! :)

I am also taking AP English Lit, it’s so relaxing to hear that I don’t have to take English again! but i am not sure if that is possible. :?

Well, I had a 5 in AP Lang so that got me both intro comp credits. The Lit credit I can get with just a 3 in Lit. So that’s my situation. Idk about you
