Essays: pretty strong
Recommendations: I imagine they’re pretty strong, one was from my favorite teacher who’s also my mentor.

Applied International politics but will probably switch to Poli Sci if I attend- still waiting on Georgetown, Villanova, and UPenn.

Wow.

where the hell is merit scholarship and honors decision posted ?

It is not mentioned in my acceptance letter!

I think if you got into the honors program it was mentioned in the acceptance letter. Not sure about scholarships but financial aid info will be up on Monday.

@piORpie There is no merit aid (except for like 15 EA people who get full tuition). If you were honors, it would say it right in the first paragraph of your acceptance letter.

Anybody know BC’s RD acceptance rate? I think EA was like 32%?

@collegemomjam EA was 33%, not sure about RD acceptance rate

Guys I was accepted and I cannot see my financial aid award no matter what I do, but it gave me an access code so is it out yet or not?

@gracemarieb : tomorrow. :slight_smile:

Does anyone know if BC sends tshirts? That’d be so awesome.

They don’t lol. But once you commit and attend orientation they gear you up and you get a superfan shirt.

If you received three years garunteed housing, how likely is it to get housing the fourth year?

Don’t worry about the housing…my daughter has 4 years housing (she’s a sophomore now) and she and many of her friends that also have 4 years housing are giving up their third year to live off campus with their friends that only have 3 years housing. But then everyone moves back on for senior year which is the best year to be on campus.

As a BC alum I can tell you that one of the unique things that makes BC a special place is the senior year housing. So many schools the kids become less attached to the campus as they get older. At BC, the housing gets better, even if you move off for junior year (which I did also). (And a lot of students go abroad for half of junior year anyway.)

And don’t be scared of Newton campus either…I had upper as a freshman and my daughter had Newton. Granted we went to BC thirty years apart, but her freshman year was no different than mine, if anything she bonded with more people and has a tighter knit group this year because of the bonds she made.

@collegemomjam said it perfectly.

Thanks!

RD Acceptance rate is around 31%. Overall 32% @collegemomjam @Green1080
