Bright futures? :[

I don't have it listed under my awards list on my financial aid toolkit. Other students( like pistolen) have it under there, already. I called financial aid, and they told me that they don't know, and to call admissions to make sure i'm a resident. I called admissions and they said i am a resident and should have the award, but they don't know; so then i called florida student financial aid, where you apply for it, and they said i'm eligible, and that the money has already been sent.

I'm asking how long it took anyone here with 75% bright futures for it to appear on their awards list? because maybe the 100% bright futures updates first, or something. :/

I'm stressed out because classes start in like 3 weeks. i want everything to be settled out.

well after hassling them some more( i talked to the same representative 6 times LOL he was so mad) they finally said something to sooth me. they said they haven't updated it, yet. By next week, everything should be updated. I'm more relaxed, but still.....

My son's showed 75% since June and just updated to 100% about a month ago.

It might depend on when you met all of the qualifications. Some students might have already met all requirements mid year and other may not have met everything until the end of the school year.

Keep on top of it just in case there is some sort of problem like a transposed digit on your SSN for example.

yea i met all of the requirements(my act score is 25 and my bright futures gpa is 3.7)

This is like when i was turning in my transcripts, all over again. :/

I'm going to keep raising hell.

Turns out that i have to send in copies of my resident alien card, again. I don't see why. All they have to do is call admissions to verify my residency, rather than make me go crazy. I am more at easy, though. sending them through fax. :]

yay, i faxed it and i just checked and the award is there!!! yay!!!

Congratulations! Keep up your grades and you will have a great financial burden lifted from you throughout your undergraduate years.
