Should I?

I know there are places where you can print for free (up to a reasonable amount); but is it better just to have your own printer?

I heard from a student that it didnt make sense. You get a certain amount of credits ( 30 Dollars I think?) of printing. She told me it was way more than enough

not really necessary.

if you buy a mac (not sure about the other companies) but i know they give you 100 bucks towards a printer, and they have one thats 99.95 so you get a free one… i dont see the reason in not bringing one so at least you can print **** from your dorm lol

I have one for convenience, but you do get $30 worth of printing from the computer labs.

yeah I’m getting a mac; so it’s pretty much free. Guess I’ll bring it.

A printer comes in handy when you are feeling too lazy to make a trip over to the library or computer labs. I like using the school printers because it is fast and can print double sided. My printer is slow as molasses so I used it only twice and brought it home.

It’s your choice, though! It is not unusual to have a printer. It can be quite convenient at times!

And computer labs have nice color printers. They are way more expensive than black and white, but if you need a nice presentation copy…
