As fascinating as this conversation is, I have to concur. This conversation happens every year and on many different college websites. If one wants to believe that have discovered the magic entrance, feel free. But really, it’s all conjecture until March 28. Good luck.
guys i accidentally did not request for financial aid on common app but did send fafsa and CSS to Brown. I only found out that i had accidentally pressed not applying for financial aid a day after i submitted my app and sent them an email to correct my mistake. I only got an automated response and now i dont see a financial aid tab on my portal. Should i wait until decisions come out to ask them about this or now? Will they be willing to help me fix this problem later?
@feast1n8 ask them now
@feast1n8 u gotta hurry up and call them now, they will not even send your name or application to the financial aid office if you didn’t apply for financial aid, call them and tell them it’s a mistake they’ll understand, but u gotta hurry.
yeah and do it before the 21st of March! @feast1n8
@BrKmNk wait why 21st?
@Harvard2022maybe do you think this will affect my admissions decisions by any means? Thats why I was so hesitant to bugging them about this because I thought it will give a wrong message.
@feast1n8 because they are closing the portals on 21st and will probably start finalizing the decisions.
oh wow im freaking out but there’s nothing i can do because its a saturday this feels great
@feast1n8 tomorrow morning as soon as the office opens just call them and explain your situation, Brown is not some kind of prison they’ll understand.
idk why people continue to say these signals mean nothing. most of the chicago forum realized who was rejected/waitlisted vs accepted over a day before because of tech stuff like this
I never was contacted for a Brown Interview despite emailing them in mid-Fibruary requesting one (they responded that alumni interviews will go out to as many people as possible and that not getting one won’t hurt). I’ve heard this a lot, but does anyone know of anyone that got into Brown who didn’t get an alumni interview?
@ThoughtWanderer: I know plenty of people who got in to Brown without an alumni interview, including my spouse.
Can someone share the dates for accepted student visits? Thanks
@bruno14 good to know, thank you for quieting my irrational doubts
@ThoughtWanderer I didn’t get an interview either. Hoping for the best on the 28th!
@planner03 “ADOCH is set for April 15 and 16 and April 22 and 23, both following a Sunday to Monday schedule.”

@flavor Thanks!
I got an email telling me that the decision will be released by 7pm on the 28th of this month…did anyone else get the same email
@butumu Yes everyone got it.
When you guys log on to the portal, under the “Student” tab, do “Username” and “Password” boxes pop up? (I’m too afraid to type anything in the boxes lol"
