Do not worry about interviews. My son is a freshman at Brown. He and his interviewer were never able to hook up. He got in. It became a big joke when they met after he got in. I’m inclined to think the interview doesn’t matter much.
Mine too and we are from MA
My daughter still didn’t get interview invitation. We are from Boston area. Any one in the same boat?
Yep - I’m from the Buffalo area and haven’t heard anything. I applied Oct 7
I’m from the greater Boston area and I just heard something from my alum yesterday. I was super worried that it was getting late and I wasn’t going to be contacted, but I did. I bet you will hear something too within the next week at the latest. (Interviews don’t have to be completed till December 1)
I applied ED!!! I love love love the school!
I just for my interview info yesterday
Hey guys!
I applied ED and haven’t received any notifications from an alumni for an interview. Decisions come out in three weeks (yikes)… should I contact the admissions office?
I wouldn’t. The admissions office isn’t sending the requests, it’s all up to the alum at this point. Could’ve just been that they haven’t gotten around to it or are busy with holidays or other commitments. Admissions will likely tell you the same and can’t schedule an interview for you anyway.
I am in Virginia south region, apply ED. Any one in Virginia got interview?
Is there anybody else who applied ED and still hasn’t received an invitation to interview? I still haven’t.
I applied ED and my interview is on Tuesday (I’m from NY). Best of luck to you all!!!
My daughter just received the email today. We are from Boston area. I think you will get contacted these two days.
Has anyone from California gotten an interview email?
@catnipfarmer Yes, I had my interview last Saturday. I honestly think that it depends on who’s interviewing you. They might just be busy and will contact you at a later time. My interviewer told me at the end of our conversation that the interview has a minimal impact on the admissions process.
Anyone know the exact day that decisions come out? Last year, it was on a Thursday… so I’m assuming it may be December 13th this year.
For Cornell I’ve heard its the 10th.
@strawberryfondue12 I was curious about that too… It was December 14 for the past two years, but Thursday, December 10 the year before that.
Heya, I’m applying RD to Brown and I’m worried about the graded paper. I’m international and I left high school about 4 years ago so I don’t have any graded papers anywhere, neither does my school (no electronic copies either). What do I do? :((
@Lovebug339 Reach out to your admissions officer and ask how to fulfill the graded paper requirement.
