Accepted! & to the PLME program! Congrats to all admits & to everyone else, you’re wonderful and its a total game of luck for any of these schools. Everyone is gonna end up at an awesome college. <3

DD rejected.

Denied

I GOT IN by some miracle!

33 ACT, 3’s on three AP’s, no subject tests. Just stayed “true to myself” and prayed to the admissions office gods

Deferred ED then rejected

waitlisted.

Rejected, but congratulations to those admitted! Brown has one of my favorite campuses – you will enjoy it

1570 SAT, 780+ on 3 subject tests, 4.0 UW GPA, 4.6 W GPA, salutatorian from MA public school
No nationally-ranked ECs or awards besides National Merit Finalist, probably my weak point

Son got rejected, but he’s not too worked up about it.

Rejected. But it’s fine. Congrats to all who got in!

Rejected!!! I’m completely fine with it. Cornell 2023 baby!

If people wouldn’t mind, could anyone who discerned a connection between their portal (e.g., multiple financial aid documents showing or whatever) and their admission decision please share that? Trying to figure out once and for all if Brown’s portal offers any sneak advance info

Lol rejected after being deferred ED. But whateva I got into Columbia - they sleepin’ on me

@baltimoreguy my finaid docs were “satisfied” on banner portal on the 18th of March. I checked my IDOC that same day and noticed Brown was requesting documents. According to the brown website the banner portal is updated every ten days. I suspect that this means my docs were pulled on the 8th. I had to resubmit a document for another college and then my banner portal updated to “pending” for that document even though it was previously satisfied. The financial aid office never emailed me or asked me for extra documents so I assumed that they had pulled everything on 8th and I was rejected or waitlisted. Fortunately I was accepted! I don’t think it means much but I also don’t think some of the arguments people were making to say it meant nothing were substantiated.

Accepted!

Recs/interviews were awesome
Essays were pretty dope too

@baltimoreguy I was rejected and on the banner portal I had only CSS and FAFSA listed and on IDOC Brown wasn’t listed

DS deferred ED and rejected RD. Truth be told, when he saw how low the RD admit rate was for deferred applicants for class of 2022, DS pretty much wrote off Brown last December and put it in the rearview mirror. Not really disappointed and certainly not surprised by the result. Got into Tufts yesterday and has a couple of other of very good options as well. Congratulations to those who got in, truly an amazing accomplishment. For those who did not, onwards!
