hey, does anyone else’s application term say “Spring 2011”? I’m pretty sure I didn’t apply for the spring…

just want to know does everyone’s information disappeared or someone still have it?
I am wondering does that mean our application complete if the information is missing?

@vanwilder: you are probably moved to the spring term decision pile? a guy up there said that “In early May certain people’s status’ started changing to “Spring” and it seems like all of those people got in for Spring.” so…i guess it’s a good thing?

@2010–My info disappeared, and my app has been complete for a while. I think everyone’s probably disappeared simultaneously, with no meaning to whether items were missing.

vanwilder: Like I said, last year being moved to spring was indicative of a spring acceptance. In this case I’m doubting it though…it just seems too early for them to have made any decisions.

yeah i saw you posted that i was just wondering if anyone else had the same status. did the people last year who were moved to spring apply for spring initially or did they apply for fall and were accepted only to spring?

I’m a little unclear. Did everyone’s checklist disappear? Or only the people who will not be offered admission?

Everyone’s checklists disappeared; it means nothing.

So should we be worried if we applied for fall and it still appears that way?

my checklist is still there…and i am still fall 2010. what does this mean?!

Huh. I applied for Fall and mines gone. Honestly, I wouldn’t read into it. I like that this forum provides support for people and is a great way for similar students to connect, but jesus. I have never seen such fanatic neuroticism and over-analyzing of truly trivial signs.

@griffinmyers: agreed.

@griffinmeyers

also agreed. I laughed really hard at the question "Did everyone’s checklist disappear? Or only the people who will not be offered admission? "

Sorry person who asked that question, but that’s just ridiculous.

Hey, not sure if this has been said already (I don’t feel like reading all the previous posts), but a friend of mine at school with me who is also applying to transfer to Brown said she called admissions and they said decisions would be posted on May 12th.

ahh thanks for the info crown7! (i dont like reading previous posts either haha)

May 12th? Wow, that’s right around the corner. 12 days until I get rejected. haha

That sucks; May 12th is the day after my Rice reply-date. Ugh, now I have to call for an extension.

@ fmhcbc-- You can also fax your Rice acceptance over to Brown and they’ll give you your decision early.

@ TheGoldFinch:

I know, but there are 2 problems there:
- Brown needs the notification 2 weeks before the other college’s reply-date, and unfortunately there’s less than 2 weeks left until May 11 (my Rice reply-date).
- Rice hasn’t sent me the hardcopy of my acceptance letter yet, only the electronic notification.

The only thing I can possibly do to speed up the decision is send them my Vanderbilt letter, but that reply-date isn’t until May 15th, so I don’t know how much of an impact it would make towards getting Brown to speed up my decision. So it looks like I’ll have to call Rice for an extension.

One of my friends got rejected a few days ago( she asked early decision because she has to response to a school by May 1st), and she has 3.8 GPA from OSU. This lets me feel so hopeless.
sign…
