lol, got waitlisted, ehh and i live in shenzhen…
obviously, 2 weeks won’t be enough…

@GiantPeach: did you call about the decision? are you accepted?
I finished my freshman year at a college in the U.S. technically I do live in China…but I just left the U.S. like two days ago…so…whatever. we’ll see what the decision is when I get home.

@Cheeky: i hope they’ll give us more time for Fall transfers…

rejected, but I don’t care, I’m going to Barnard!!

accepted in new york, but not taking the offer. hooray for someone on the waitlist!

For those who got in care to share what program you applied to/got accepted into?

I hate Canada. It took 10 days to receive the actual decision letter (airmail) from Georgetown. Why…WHY?

Common Brown, you can do it

Hey All, I’m a first-time poster to this thread but a long-time reader. I just wanted to say thanks for the excellent dialogue and generally congenial spirit of this thread. Brown would be lucky to have any one of you :).

Also, ACCEPTED for fall semester! I’m studying abroad in the Netherlands right now, but my parents received the letter at their house in Virginia, if that answers any questions as to which address they use for internationals. I am so stoked to be a Brown Bear!!

Rejected. Now I have got to figure out what I am going to do for the next year.

Accepted in California for Chemistry! Also, yay for no financial aid, here is to 2 years of poverty!

Accepted in Seattle, Washington for the Spring Semester! I actually am in Poughkeepsie, New York now, since I go to Vassar, but they sent it to my grandparents’ house in Seattle (my permanent address), and they just called to tel me I got in! This is awesome. I never thought in high school that I could get into an Ivy League school, much less two of them. It really shows that with hard work and talent anything is possible. This will be an interesting choice between Brown and Penn (and maybe Duke).

Got in for COE

waitlisted. I’ll assume that’s a rejection probably :(

Can’t say I didn’t expect it! I’m glad I have some good options at least. I wonder if anyone actually gets off the transfer waitlist…

Grats arcade! That’s a real accomplishment.

haha well thanks for the encouragement, but I realize the odds of getting off the waitlist are probably astronomically low. Ah well!

I mean I already saw so many people who are accepted and might not be attending Brown next year…so…it is definitely possible to get off the wait list.

Flat-out rejected with a 3.9 GPA in engineering at a top 40 program.

hey IdreamofEA190 what program were you accepted to?

Accepted.

Did not see this coming at all.

Hey glennnat, I’m in as a regular transfer student (not RUE) for comparative literature and linguistics, at least that’s what I put on my application. Linguistics will be my primary concentration, but since it’s a fairly small concentration I’m thinking of pursuing Applied Math, Economics, or Earth Science as a second concentration. My interests are varied, so I’m excited to start dabbling in all that Brown has to offer!

I got accepted!! Electrical Engineering
