^I’ll make one but I don’t have any current friends who are also transfers.

why dont you post the link of the facebook group in this thread and then people can follow the link and join

^I can’t even create a group by myself…

adamajl44, I’ll PM you so you can add me on FB, then we can go about starting a group.

Brown Fall 2012 Transfer Group: [Log In | Facebook](http://www.facebook.com/groups/463392983686974/)

Hello, did anyone hear or receive from Brown after sending their commitment card?

Testerz, I have still not heard or received anything after sending my commitment card. But today was the last day to commit, so I’m thinking they should be sending us something soon.

Looks like Brown has updated the transfer guide on their website and materials to reflect 2012-2013. So perhaps in the next few weeks they’ll be sending out information packets for us then.

For people who get accepted into the spring 2013 semester, can you tell me if you were applying as freshmen standing or sophomore standing, which means whether spring 2013 is your sophomore spring or junior spring??? I remembered they had an opinion of studying abroad in fall and accepted to spring on the application. Just wondering how does that works.

Does anyone know if we can change our intended concentration? Also, it seems kinda strange , but my expected graduation date on self service webpage says 2016 (I am freshman transfer so it should be 2015 not 16) Anyone else having this longer expected graduation date?

Where does it say that on the SelfService, Testerz?

Mine says the same thing. Go to student records, then click ‘view student information.’ Surely it can’t be right.

I imagine it gives you a grad date based on the number of credits they’ve already agreed to accept–so you’re probably considered a second semester freshman until they process your final transcript.

Any waitlisters heard back yet?

Bloom, I haven’t heard anything yet. I’,m assuming we probably won’t until mid June.

^I haven’t heard anything back either…

did anyone else on the waitlist send in extra materials? (recs/letters)

I heard mid-June as well. What concentrations all the waitlistees apply to? I’m just curious if our intended areas of study will play large roles in determining who they pull off, if they do decide to take any. :(

I’m neuroscience. What about you?

I didn’t accept my offer. I am just speculating but if there is a high enough yield, there may be only a couple, if any, who get off the waitlist seeing as their was an overenrollment at some point (they didn’t accept any RD waitlisters). But who knows. Good luck to you guys!
