@marbles24 only people who are very versed in either music or a visual art submit portfolios. It’s a low percentage of applicants.

@clgahs2017 be ready to answer questions (obviously). But remember, they can ask you anything really. How do you know that you got assigned an interviewer? Did Brown email you?

Can I still submit a link to a video of mine as a supplement? Like on the Brown account? Because I know the visual arts/music supplements were to be submitted via slideroom on common app, but my video isn’t visual arts or music related. Plus I’ve already turned in my application

I’m probably just being paranoid, but will anything be affected by the fact that I used single instead of double quotes to say the title of something in one of my supplements? I tried to find rules online, but there aren’t really any set in stone. Many websites just said that it’s up to the writer’s discretion…
is 1420 too low of an sat score (new sat) for brown??
i know the admissions process is holistic, but still. i don’t want to have a weaker application because of it. my gpa is like 3.98 unweighted and 4.51 weighted, so that’s pretty strong.
@littlemousling it’s above the 25th percentile, and your GPA is on the high end for applicants.
@ap012199 haha I doubt that will do anything. A rule like that is one where different people have their own preferences, so I think you’re fine! You’re good

Is there really any other purpose to the Brown account besides seeing your app’s status and being able to submit research/additional videos?
I haven’t gotten en animal to set up the account but I was contacted to set up an alumna interview. Currently, we are scheduling it for this weekend which is a tiny bit scary!
