I submitted my application, Iāve found that itās best for me to entirely push something out of my mind if I have no control over the outcome. Now, to live my life until decisions come out!
Anyone get an email from Brown about setting up a Brown account? I applied yesterday, not sure how long it takes normally to get the email.
@ricka8 iāve heard theyāre sending an email to all ED applicants this wednesday.
I called to ask about the emails and Brown admissions said they will be sent out next Wednesday, 11/9. This will have the ID number to create an account so we can see the application progress and all that.
Do you guys think youāll get in? Even knowing you are a competitive applicant and have done all your stuff, all I can think to do is stress about not getting in.
Thatās the downside of ED. You put your heart and soul into this one school, clearly falling in love with it. You are ALL competitive, deserving applicants; seemingly randomly, some will get admitted and many will not. Sigh. If only all the ED applicants could now get amnesia so totally forget about Brown for a few weeks. But alas, life doesnāt work that way. My little Brown wannabe thinks about it constantly. Good luck to all of you! If you are not at Brown a year from now, you will STILL love where you are and the school will be lucky to have you. Onward and upward.

i think my supplements/personal statement/ECs are all good, but i wish my test scores were higher. that being said, iāve accepted that everything happens for a reason and weāll all end up where weāre supposed to be. iām sure your application is wonderful! the rest is out of our hands, and december 15th will be here before we know it.
@ricka8 wait Nov 9! but we only have until nov 12 to send in our supplementary research materialsā¦ if we have science research supplements, theyāre expecting us to get them in from nov 9-12??

did you guys apply anywhere else early? i applied to Brown, UChicago, Northeastern, U Michigan and U of Utah (because the priority deadline for the honors college was nov 1 and Iām in state so it makes sense lol)
