@ anyone who submitted research/supplementary materials on the brown account: once submitting, do you guys see any confirmation that it’s there? (all it said was file uploaded, once)
I got my Brown account activation and saw that my ACT scores are recorded as not received yet. But, I submitted them on September 29 and I called the ACT customer service people, and they confirmed they were transferred to Brown. Has anyone else had that same problem? Should I call Brown to find out if they just haven’t updated my account record yet?
Just got an email to set up the interview! So excited for it.

@littlemousling same here :(. When did you submit you application? I submitted mine on the Sunday before the deadline, so many next week I will get the email and interview notice.
Do you guys know how important the interview is? I know for some schools its super important (WUSTL, Wesleyan) but thats also bc they dont have supplements. Do you think an interview can make or break a decision? Brown’s a long shot for me, my grades aren’t nearly up to Brown standard, but I feel really good about my essay, supplements, letters of rec and ECs and public speaking is right up my alley but do you guys know how formal it is? Is it more conversational or more serious?

Apparently my early decision agreement hasn’t even been received yet

@littlemousling apparently mine hasn’t either! I saw on my common app account the ED agreement says incomplete, which is weird because I don’t think it said that before. My Brown account doesn’t say anything about an ED agreement though. It just says all has been received. I hope it doesn’t affect anything…I’m trying to get in contact with my counselor to see what is up

I got assigned my interviewer the day after I submitted my application. I submitted on Monday as well. But I haven’t gotten the email to set up the portal.
I completed my interview yesterday and my interviewer was lovely! We talked for over an hour and a half and it felt more like a conversation than an interview. I’m a fairly talkative person so in the end she didn’t ask my too many questions but overall it was very relaxed.
If we don’t get an interview, will that be used against us?
Has anyone else had a problem with their ACT scores getting entered into the system? I submitted my application and sent my test scores on September 29th. A few weeks ago I contacted ACT and was told that my scores were sent on September 30th, and when I contacted Brown about a week ago was told not to worry if they didn’t make it in before the ED deadline. They still haven’t shown up on the online portal, and I’m a little freaked out. Should I be worried?
I think I misspelled one of the words in one of my titles for my arts supplement… hopefully admissions won’t catch it if it’s wrong lol
@catherine1219 I have a similar situation here. I submitted my SAT scores with the application, on the 12th of October. However, the Brown portal shows that SAT scores have not been received but CollegeBoard says otherwise. I emailed Brown but they said not to worry.

@ap012199 I just checked over my common app and my resume and I did the exact same thing! I am a tiny bit embarrassed but I don’t think it’s a big enough mistake to contact anyone?
