I live in NY and my friend has friends who applied and received phone calls… I’m refusing to check my portal as of now bc if it’s a glitch i don’t wanna see a “congratulations” if its not true or a “sorry” if its not true lol. But either way, i hope its resolved soon I’m freaking out
@ala1001 I’m pretty sure all the phone calls were made yesterday and the glitch has been fixed.
Were all the people you know that were contacted by Brown accepted?

Hey guys, I’ve been reading this forum for the past month, but I’ve been too scared to comment on it… Now that we’re less than a week out, I decided that I might as well join the conversation. I’m a student with good test scores, stellar extracurriculars, and an okay GPA… Brown is a longshot for me, but I decided to try regardless. I am also applying for the PLME, and it’s been my dream to be accepted into it. Regardless of whether I get in or not on Wednesday, I’ve told myself to stay confident and to know that I have a lot of other good schools that I’ll be able to get into! I encourage you all to avoid thinking about Brown too much this weekend (aside from checking your portal every so often, like I will be doing) and take time to hype yourself up and study for finals

Also, I’m flipping out over these phone calls. I live in the Midwest and I haven’t heard of any of my friends getting calls, but the fact that some people already know is stressing me out a TON.
I don’t think you should. I think it depends on whether they know you’ve got the glitch or not, because they didn’t contact me until I contacted them. If you didn’t have the glitch it doesn’t mean anything, but I’m sure you’ll get in!

How does your online portal look like people? Especially the ones who got accepted or rejected.
Does everyone have a Banner ID (different from a BrownID)?

@dk273273 (ED applicant, didn’t see the glitch or get calls) I think we all have the Banner IDs. On my Profile page I have one in addition to a Brown Username and Brown ID. Highly doubt they are indicative of a decision but with all the upheaval who can be sure, haha
