No I’m just sharing what I found

Didn’t they say in the wait list email that we shouldn’t expect anything before may 15? And that the process could continue well into June? I’m pretty sure there’s still gonna be a lot of waiting

On the website it says ‘through the end of may’

Guys, it’s probably going to start coming out this Thursday. According to what Kellogs12 and kahmerve have said, and the fact that Brown released both their ED and RD decisions on a Thursday, it seems pretty logical that they will release the first batch on Thursday.

Hey guys, will you attend if admitted despite financial aid???

I’m dying to go to Brown! The worst thing that could ever happen to me is getting off the wait list and not being able to afford it. On the website it says

“Send a brief letter to the admission office informing them of your continued interest.
• If possible, address it to the admission officer who reads for your region (this can be found on college websites or by calling the admission office directly).
• If you would attend if admitted, tell them that directly; if you’re not sure, find language that is strong and positive without making promises you may not be able to keep.
• Remember, the fact that you have been placed on the waiting list means that the admission committee is already confident in your ability to succeed at the college. Therefore, keep the tone light and use the correspondence as an opportunity to reiterate why the college is a good match.”

Have you guys already sent in your letter of continued interest? If you have, are any of you on the edge about this depending on financial aid? If so, how did you word that in your letter? I feel like this will slim down any slight chance of getting off the WL ): Thoughts?

P.S I called admissions today about the waitlist process… They told me we won’t find out online. It’ll ALL be through Mail!! I’ve been checking it everyday

So they’ll email us out decision?

Oh and are they need-aware when it comes to the wait list?

I expect email and possibly a telephone call.

I’m not really sure, but the lady I spoke to said we’ll be getting something in the mail. She didn’t say e-mail….

it must be coming out soon. My son just got off the wait list for Cornell today. We are also still waiting for Brown.

Gut feeling says either tomorrow (Tuesday) or Thursday

Anything yet, guys?!

Nope… Still waiting…

For the transfer decisions they stated ‘mid may’ however someone said it will be today. Maybe our decisions will come out as well.

Highly doubt it would come out today… The admission office is probably busy with the transfers and so they probably have barely had the time to look at us

That stinks since Cornell has been accepting off waitlist since Monday… Can you accept one waitlist and then deny when you get a second waitlist?

Don’t think so

Dartmouth took someone off list today.

So will they let us know by email or snail mail?
