I just got in ED to SHA at BU, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what would be best interms of housing. Any and all suggestions would be great…

Definitely go for West. It is within a 5 minute walk from where SHA is. During freshman year, you might end up taking a few general requirements in CAS, which is pretty far away, but I'd recommend living close to SHA. Most freshman live in either West or Warren (Warren being right next to CAS). But if you want to be close to SHA, pick West. I live in an apartment right across the street from West and love only having a 5 min walk to class

is it a fun dorm, i want the best of the college experience. i dont mind the walk if warren is better, thanks for such a quick response from devilsrule...

Oh no, West is definitely a "fun" dorm like Warren. Both offer essentially the same experience. Both have 3 buildings, tons of freshman to make friends with, great dining hall, social atmosphere where everyone keeps their door open. Trust me, West is the way to go for you.

alright thank you so much, maybe we will run into eachother next year in SHA, thanks again

I was thinking the same thing. SHA is very small and very personal so you really get to meet a good chunk of the student body. I'm sure you know all there is to know about SHA if you applied ED here. If you have any questions about SHA just let me know. I'm a chairman for a club in SHA called NSMH. Stands for National Society of Minorities in Hospitality. You don't need to be a minority to join. In fact, most people in the club aren't. It is a great way to learn about the hospitality industry (and our members always get great internships and jobs). Anyways, you still have another year of high school to enjoy anyway. Good luck and see you in September.
