Coming from OOS, we will probably be picking a dorm, sight unseen - could we get some feedback on Burke? My S will be in engineering, and could go Honors Dorm, but we’re looking at traditional dorms instead, for multiple reasons. Thanks for your input and opinions!

Burke has one of the best Dining Halls in it.

Have you looked online at the Burke photos and video?

These rooms are furnished with two height-adjustable beds, two desks and desk chairs, a microfridge, two built-in wardrobes and two built-in dressers.

**It looks like there is a suites option in Burke
** But, I don’t know if they’re the same price. I’m not seeing a different price for these.

Burke rooms are clean and modern. You have direct access to Burke Dining Hall and another on-campus restaurant. The aquatic center, which has one of the campus well-kept secrets - its own uncrowded weight and exercise room - is right across the street.

Burke looks pretty nice. Would you guys say it is as good as the honors residence halls?

Well, no, you really can’t. Riverside, Lakeside, and Ridgecrest are hotels compared to Burke. Not to say Burke is crummy, but the others are just nicer.

Ahh, okay. The pictures on the website make it look really nice and cozy. I’m guessing it’s much better to actually visit and see for myself!
