Burnett Honors College -UCF

Hi everyone,

I'm looking at the Burnett Medical Scholars, and as most of you probably know, you first have to be accepted into Burnett Honors College in order to get into the program. Now, here's my question:

On the website, it states:
" Is there a minimum GPA or test score requirement for The Burnett Honors College?

No. The school profile, class rank, strength of curriculum and other academic accomplishments will all be considered. Typically, The Burnett Honors College offers admission to the top 10% of the incoming freshman class at UCF, and the applicant should show academic strengths that place him or her in that position."

Now, does anyone have the info/stats as to what the average SAT scores, GPA's, class rank's of those accepted into the Honors College is/are?

How selective is getting into the Honors College, and if you got in, what are/were your stats?

Thank you!

309 views, and no replies? Someone?

Apparently, the average GPA/ACT scores last year were around 4.2 (weighted) and a 30-31. I was told that if you had that, you would probably get in this year.
I got in with a 4.3 (weighted) GPA and a 31 on the ACT.
But I do know someone that got in with a 29 ACT/ 3.9 weighted GPA. He had amazing recommendations and a great essay though.

So, if you have kinda what I have, you should probably get in. If you have less, make sure you have great recommendations/ essays.

Thank you Autmn. What was your unweighted GPA though?

Also, anyone else?

You’re welcome. My unweighted was a 4.0.

I got in with a 2120 SAT, 4.5 GPA (ranked 4th), and 5 passing scores on AP exams. I know a bunch of people who have gotten in as well, so I’m sure you’ll make it :)

From what I hear, there is a limited number of slots though, so hurry up! Haha
