u think 3 c's 2a's and one b is good for uc?

no, 1 c isn't good, unless it is one of the no-name UC's.

No.

Well, it the depends on the UC. But overall, it's more CSU material.

what are you talking about? you mean your overal gpa is C? that would be bad. or you mean that you have these grades. i have a friend who got into berkeley with a C. he did bad at sat i. but he is extermely smart and nailed everything else. of course, you have to be a californian resident. ...very importnat.

no i mean these are like probably my first semester grades for senior year,

not good for you at all. Some B's are fine, but C's implicate mediocrity. If you have C's, any UC is a reach (yeah even the "no-names"). Berkeley or UCLA are a joke, if you're applying there. With a C avg., expect the reject.

what about i do better second semester ? huh? why are you talking so harshly, don't you have manners?

and about saying any uc is a reach that's pathetic, i know someone who is c average for reg classes and he got into uci,

What do you guys think are the "acceptable" range of grades for the higher UC's for senior 1st semester grades?

I agree that having multiple C's will look bad. But how will getting dropped from honors spanish for getting a C look? (this is for a friend)

For my 1st semester senior grades, I'm expecting A(maybe B)/B/A/A/B/A...How does that look?

that's great.

RBase07:

Are you reffering to me?...I'm asking an honest question that I would like answered please. ><

I know. I'm saying that your "A(maybe B)/B/A/A/B/A" is great. Getting dropped from a class for getting a C looks terrible though (esp. the getting dropped part)

I see...I didn't know whether that "that's great" part had sarcasm. Thanks for your input.

I got one C and still got into UCLA...

lol flopsy...

hey thanks for all your help a few months back when I had questions about UC acceptance etc...Waiting for decisions ><

ucs dont look at senior grades

rbase you are really unhelpful and rude, please i'd like you not to post on this thread again

what are you talking about? It's not like C's are good..

I think RBase was just trying to be honest with you (not purposefully rude or anything of the such).

I think those grades put you slightly below 3.0 UW, so you might be in the danger zone. Try to boost some of those C's to a B.
