This (abysmal) calculus grade didn't drag my GPA down that much; it's still a 4.5, but I'm worried as to how the college is going to view this. I got A's in the rest of my classes, and I took 5 AP's this year (first time doing this.)

I've had A's throughout HS, with the exception of a B in an AP class junior year. I've also never made less than a 4 on any AP exam.

Is this drop in grade serious?

Not serious if it is (and will be) an isolated incident. Your overall profile looks quite strong. Have you been accepted already or are you waiting for RD results?

I am waiting for RD results.

This wouldn't worry me too much if I had been ED; some of my friends have a similar situation with this class (and had AB first; I'm in BC and skipped AB) but have already been accepted to great schools.

I think it kinda depends on your major. If you are a humanities major, it won't affect you as much. As for the math major...

I'm not majoring in math.
