I've just received cal grant disqualification letter today, and it said I won't be awarded Cal grant for 06-07. However,I got money from Cal grant B for this quarter! Is this weird? Also, when I checked my cal grant status online, I saw my school is UCR! Just 4 weeks ago, I called Cal grant and they got the right school, and the most important thing was I got Cal grant B. W T F! I'm so worried cuz I can't afford to pay my rent without cal grant. :( In june when I first received my efan, it said I got university grant since I did't get Cal grant , but then suddenly I got Cal grant B in the next efan. Now, I lose it again! Do you guys think I'll get university grant for winter and spring? :(

It's not even wk 3 when they sent the disqualification letter. :(

I'll go to financial aid office in person. :(
Cal grant sucks a$$. If I wasn't qualify for Cal grant B, how come I got money for the fall quarter?! :(

I've been to financial aid office today, and I found out a lot people have the same situation as me. Cal grant disbursed money in Sep and sent out disqualification letter in Oct. I relied on Cal grant to pay for rent. But yesterday I were told that I can't get Cal grant anymore. It was like the end of the world when I got that letter.

Anyway, I got university grant instead. But it's still the fault of cal grant.

No, there's nothing on payment history. It even listed I go to UCR.
Did you receive any email that your cal grant status was on hold before fianancial aid disbursement? The staff of financial aid office told me that it was a sign of cal grant disqualification.
I think you can call Cal grant to check your status now. If that's the disqualification letter, bring it to financial aid office and staffs in there will swap university grant with cal grant.

I got my cal grant for fall quarter, but nothing is shown online. Luckily I don't have to pay back cal grant from my own pocket. :D I think you'll be fine,
