<p>I have been accepted to SD and I and have received my financial aid packages but there isn't a mention of Cal Grants on either.</p>
<p>I am certain I should be getting one since I qualify for the full Pell Grant and yet I have heard nothing back, even from the state's website.</p>
<p>Is anyone in the same situation? This is potentially $7K I would like to have...</p>
<p>Did you sign up for the Cal Grant? You had to fill out a form and if you had, then you had to fill out the GPA Verification Form that was due by March 2nd. UCSD has confirmed my Cal Grant A, giving me $7 grand. </p>

<p>some schools automatically submit GPA verification, which eliminates any paperwork you would have had to submit.</p>
<p>to my understanding, if you live in california and filled out a FAFSA, you were automatically considered for CalGrant. </p>
<p>if that isn’t the case, something freakish must have happened in my case, because i’ve got a CalGrant login.</p>

I would agree, but at my last college, they didn’t and I was almost withdrawled from getting my Cal Grant this year. I got an e-mail like a month back saying that. I’m barely getting it this week. This year I just had to go to the FA office and they did it for me. Yes, it is automatic, but to get it done sooner, I just went and nagged them. [:</p>

<p>Hi, I got into UCSD also and I’m Cal Grant A was listed as “possible” as part of my gift aid. UCR listed my Cal Grant A too. UCI though hasn’t. Not sure whats going on. </p>

<p>@ saba5678 No, it is not only because I applied to UCSD. All the UCs that I applied to and have already been accepted to have confirmed that I have gotten my Cal Grant A from the California Student Aid Commission. </p>

<p>Interesting, I get Cal Grant B for two years now. However, when I check the website for online status, they say they don’t have my SSI and name on the record. ***!</p>
