My son was accepted to microbiology on Tuesday. Don’t worry you’re daughter will hears soon.

I know a friend of my daughters that got in (OOS - Colorado) for Biomedical Engineering.
Her stats were 1360 for SAT and probably @4.2 for CP accepted GPA
Have they begun releasing admissions for their impacted majors?

I would guess that several thousand admissions will be sent out today
If you don’t get into cal poly major for your first choice major will they consider you for your second choice major?
They do ask for one, so there is always the possibility.
Usually, that is only done when the second major is not impacted or has a much lower number of applicants than expected. That’s not usually the case with Cal Poly.
So possibly, but not probably.
I think they only consider your second major if you’re not in L&S. I don’t think they consider your major if youre applying for L&S but I’m not sure.
What does “L&S” mean?
I haven’t heard any decisions going out today so far!

I think the operative word here was “guess”. Some members of this forum like making predictions that are not rooted in any factual basis or objective reality.
