Cal States and Graduate Acceptances(What are my Chances)

Hello everyone,

Does anyone here have any experience applying to the Cal States for their masters? I plan on applying but I am worried about my chances. Although my school is in the top 30(Top 10 in my major), I have a mediocre cumulative GPA(2.9) and a decent major(Political Science) GPA of 3.2. I’m worried I won’t get in anywhere. :confused:

The programs I know about at the CSUs tend to give promising candidates a chance. The fact that your major GPA is 3.2 will certainly be in your favor.

Well that’s good to hear! :slight_smile: My goal would be San Francisco State, but I know that one has the highest requirements. :-S
