dancer too? you sound exactly like me! haha. yeah the apps for 6 schools was pretty tough, it drove my parents crazy. are you going out of your mind waiting for march 10th?? I AM!! its soo hard to wait, but its worth it. whats westover like? i've never heard of it

you're a girl , right? im a girl. I could never handle 6 schools. Besides, if they dont accept me at my 4, i doubt id get accepted at any others. My mother was redy to kill me because my fa stuff was kind of unorganized.
I've been dancing since i was five. I did a ton of ballet and gymnastics, with a little tap and jazz until the 4th grade, when my house burned down. I had to get out of it , to my dismaybecause we started traveling a lot.sincei moved to la i've been tapping and doing hip hop, salsa and jazz at school in my club.
Singing's my real thing, but I've alwaysdone acting stuff though. Been in plays ,had private acting lessons and have been to numerous summer camps.
Westover is really nice and small with a great community. It may not have as muchprestige as choate, say, but it's just as good a school. A lot of people haven't heard of it. I think it's really diversetoo.
I also cannot wait till march 10th. I think they're trying to kill us.Im desperate for even a shimmer of hope.
Do you have any other ec's? I kept mine minimal and didn't mention a lot of the stuff i've done, partially because i forgot. I was homeschooled a lot in the middle of no where, so i didn't have much to add in the way of awards.
p.s., what's ur email?

yeah i'm a girl. thats awesome with all the dance stuff you've been doing. i've been dancing for about that long too mostly ballet, but some jazz and hiphop. um im really really into acting and so i have to stop dance classes a lot for plays and such. i also play lacrosse so i dont get to dance in the spring. i sail in the summer so thats why i applied to hotchkiss because they are the only school with a sailing team. and i'm pretty involved in clubs and such at my school particularly a prejudice awareness program which really impressed my interviewers. um lets see what else did i put down...um im really into writing i guess you could call it my "passion" and thats pretty much my main interests. so...homeschool?? thats pretty cool, did your parents just decide on that cause they're werent any good schools in your area? well i dont give out my email online cause...i dunno ive just been taught its really unsafe, sorry bout that, but we can keep talking on here!

no worries.
That's pretty much why i was homeschooled. plus, i couldn't got o school in canada and mexico, where i lived for a while. Actually, my mum threw me into school in mexico to get me to learn the language. it was kind of cool. there were animals all over the school yard and you had to cross a river to get there.
omg, i love writing too! particularly fantasy and bizarre comedy..
MY PROBLEM IS I'M NOT REALLY ADvance at tap or hip hop,Im kind of intermediate- beginner cause i was out of it for so long. I kind of forgot my ballet, even though i study from a video doing simple stuff. It's so cool that you sail. That sounds like a lot of fun. unfortunately i get sea sick.

tappingprep,
I was homeschooled as well. It was an awesome experience.

I loved being homeschooled

Elven Queen,
why were you homeschooled? MY parents did it cause they liked to travel. I got to got to a bunch of cool places.Where are you originally from? Im a ct girl.

I was homeschooled when I lived in california b/c the local public school was overcrowded. But I did get to travel a lot, and I learned a lot more too. I got to go to france for a month, then england for about 3 weeks, and and spain for about 1 week. I did travel up and down the CA coast a lot too. I'm originallly from OH though, and then I went to CA, then to CT.... Now another move is on the horizon

hey elvenqueen you like lord of the rings?? im obsessed, jw cause of your lil forum name or w/e

so eleven queen are you applying to boarding school...you live in ct so im guessing choate like tappingprep and i

She goes to ms.porters.
What grade are u applying for, laurenceville? If your in 8th do you take algebra?
Elven queen, ur solucky u got to live in england!!!

8th, yeah im in algebra, what about you?

Yeah. It's the 1st year of math that i've actually enjoyed.

i go to boarding school already ( miss porter's)
and yes I love lord of the rings...but not cuz of orlando bloom.

haha, math is my worst subject, it really sucks because i have all a's but i cannot raise that grade from a B+, if anything keeps me out of lawrenceville that would probably be it. AHHH LOTR ROCKS MY WORLD! big fan...you like the movies or books better, i def like the books better, but the movies are AWESOme as well

My algebra grade is ok, it's my hardest class, partially because the teacher is one of the few who doesn't inflate our grades at all. I've got a 93-94%, and, like you, ican't raise it!

bump. I'm very bored today. it's raining very hard in la!

it is snowing here (rather annoying considering it was like 60 last week). and now we started arts week and this years theme is shakespeare. I wasn't good at math till this year but I have an awesome teacher! And yes, I love the LOTR books, but the movies rocked too. I actually read the hobbit when I was like 6 or 7, then wanted to read LOTR... but then we moved before I got around to it. Then I saw a the movie trailer about 1.5 years before the movie actually came out ( the teaser with the fellowship going over the mountain), and went hmmmmm I never got around to that....

did ya'll have school today? i go to a private school and they made us have it, it sucked, im guessing cause you posted in the middle of the day you didnt. right now im the lead in the school play, we perform wednesday IM SOO SCARED!

I had school today. yup. definitely did.
