<p>Syawn, i don't really have a first choice! haha... what i am doing is going to stay over at all the schools i get into to see which school's atmosphere i like the best. But USC is definitely not some like safety school/ backup or anything like that. We'll see after my visit in February how i like it in real life!</p>

<p>I received my acceptance last week and trustee scholarship interview letter a few days ago. I haven't heard from Bac/MD program....I live in Northern California. You guys who have heard...where do you live?</p>

I also hope that the fact that I am possibly going to be a National Merit Finalist doesn't hurt my chances at Trustee's, if they want to give me the (much) smaller scholarship for National Merit-ers. Rrrrrrr! We'll see. Are you going Feb. 24-25?</p>

<p>I'm a Trustee Scholarship finalist, too. Going down the 24th and 25th. I'll be in RHP, so my parents are both going. My stats are decent, but nothing to write home about. Maybe they liked my ECs? I have no idea. I'll be wearing the recommended "business attire" as well. (getting it tailored at the moment, gotta love being short) Good luck everyone.</p>
<p>"business attire" for the whole time?!?! i thought we only had to dress up for the interview. anyhow, i'm so excited i can't wait!!!! except for the interview part. they said that the first lunch is on your own, so does that mean they just set us loose in downtown LA?</p>

<p>how many ppl do they invite for the TRUSTEES, not the trustees and the presidentials combined?? i heard 300, but is that combined??</p>
<p>well i read on their packet thingy that only 175 people can sign up for each explore usc date. and since there's 2 explore dates, that means about 300 something people go?</p>
<p>well they have over 1200 presidential and trustee scholars, so will there be almost 300 trustee and presidential scholars in the freshman class? a 300:350 chance would be nice!</p>
<p>Hey, I just found a site to substantiate my speculation: </p>
<p>"Trustee and Presidential scholarships are awarded to outstanding entering freshmen based on academic accomplishments as well as involvement in co-curricular activities and leadership. Each year approximately 100 new Trustee Scholars and 200 new Presidential Scholars are admitted into USC."</p>
<p>well, 2 sessions of 175 equals a max of 350...and they're only gonna select 100!!! last year they only gave out 92!!!</p>
<p>also something to think about- 175 people don't necessarily have to come each time. maybe they can't make it, maybe they don't care. just an optimistic look at things!</p>
