duh, sorry

Just submitted my SIR. Now to wait until I can actually do things lol.

Kyle, we actually already have a group going with about 30 people at the moment haha. You wanna integrate over? PM me for the link.

To those who have SIR’d, can you see how many spots are left for each CalSO date? please

My commencement is June 9th, and I’m torn between getting a better registration date and walking.

Can’t find any way to see how many spots are left for each CalSO day. You can always sign up for the next best day if need be. It shouldn’t affect your registration too much I think.

Thanks, GottaGetToCal. I’ve heard horror stories about registration from current students, but I’ll try my best to make it work out.

Haha, really? I figure anything is better than registration at a community college xD

lol being public schools, i figure that its all hell all the time.

man this weather we’re having…im roasting in my room

Officially registered for 6/9! I need to be currently enrolled in the last major pre-req in order to be able to declare Media Studies. Thank goodness the class isn’t even half full yet :).

^when/where r u taking it?

@Boston, what kinds of registration horror stories have you heard?

UM LOL. just got the most awk call from a UC Berkeley student…he couldnt even answer any housing questions of mine :frowning:
and his feeble “Go Bears” at the end of our convo made me wonder what had happened to him during his stay at Berkeley.
here’s to hoping the rest of my encounters with Berkeley students wont be so awk.

@santacruzstefan

In general, the Berkeley students I know in person talk about their inability to get the classes they want or need.

The most substantive evidence I have is from someone who waited last minute to SIR and was unable to get classes directly related to his major. He could only snatch up only one upper division class as well.

@GottaGetToCal

At CC, I was successful at getting add codes from professors for classes I needed because of my registration group. I presume that won’t fly at Berkeley. :<

@redoplease

They called me just as I was reading your post and wondering why I didn’t get a call. :D

lol did your conversation go as terribly as mine?

“…um…giggle…I’m not the best person to talk to…giggle.”

@redoplease: I need to take the last major pre-req (history) at Cal in fall. I found out that for Media Studies you only need 3 pre-reqs including MS10 or an equivalent completed (which I will have after this quarter) and be enrolled in the last pre-req. So hopefully I’ll be able to declare in fall!

My phone conversation went great! The student I talked to was very friendly and definitely enthusiastic about Cal.

LOOOLLL CRMPIE!!!

ugh i wish i had your person, datransfer. and thats great! so now you can double major?

edit: i also just finished the online pre-orientation!!! woooooooo i basically have all my classes picked out for fall!! ahhh

@redo: Does the orientation still appear in your checklist? Mine is still there, even though I completed it twice already…

@ redo they all have space available? I think I need to revise the list I printed out

@santacruzstefan: Are the classes you want all full? The ones I picked are like half full.
