Can I get into UConn

Hi, I’m going to be a senior this upcoming school year. I was looking through schools and I figured since I live in state, UConn might be the best. I’m not the smartest or most active student, but I do some stuff and I want to hear from people who goes to UConn to see if I have decent chance of getting in.
Freshman GPA:3.6 (With 1 honor class)
Sophomore GPA:3.6 (With 4 honor classes)
Junior GPA:3.3 (With 4 honor and 1 AP classes) (My GPA went down during Junior year because it was a hard year)
Senior:Taking 3 AP’s and rest is honors.(School did not start yet).
ACT:19 (Taking it again. English is not my first language so it is very hard for me to bring it up. Lived in U.S for 8 years or so)
Recommendation: I have 2 teachers who are both willing to write one up coming school year.
Extra curricular: 3 years of wrestling (few varsity matches), Teach Korean to other kids in Korean school, TEAM+S:Basically like engineering competition involves like math and science skills. Played in school orchestra for 3 years.
Awards: Presidential award in 7th grade. (Don’t really know if that’s going to help me at all).
Language: Fluent Korean, English(Have some grammar errors), and took Spanish for 3 years (not taking it senior year).
Um… I think that’s all I have to say I think.
So What do you guys think of me going into UConn? I’m very worried because that’s the only school that I can actually afford to go.
Thank you in advance.

Definitely retake your ACT or try the SAT. UConn is definitely a reach for you. If you increase your standardized test scores, you should have a shot at one of UConn’s regional campuses and you can transfer to Storrs from there.

Try to get at least a 25 on the ACT and get good first semester grades. For the ACT start studying well in advance. There’s a test preparation section here where you can learn study tips and ask questions.

If I do get into a regional campus, do I have to attend the regional campus for a year before I transfer or can I transfer right away?

You cannot transfer from a regional campus “right away”. that’s why you would be admitted to the regional, you did not qualify for admission to Storrs.
