Can I retake an ACP class?

So, I kind of screwed myself over junior year by taking ACP Calculus while not knowing that the actual grade I was receiving counted towards my GPA at IU. I only thought the credits mattered, you see. Big fat mistake. Now I'll be starting off on very precarious footing and it will be hard to obtain a 3.8 freshman year (something that's needed to keep all of my scholarships intact as well as keep me competitive during the application process to certain programs I'm eyeing). Would it be possible for me to somehow erase an ACP class completely and retake the course as an IU freshman? I KNOW I could do ten times better.

My parents are pressuring me into another school just over this minor little slip-up and I'd really rather not change my whole career path because of something this stupid.

According to the ACP website the grade goes on your IU transcript.

Advance College Project - Grades and Grade Reports

You might ask your ACP Coordinator about your situation. If you don't know who it is, a list of coordinators by high school can be found here

Advance College Project - Participating High Schools

A lot of the most common scholarships at IU only require maintaining a 3.0 gpa. Hutton Honors is 3.4.

Yes, I believe you can, because an ACP course is simply an IU course. Both grades appear on your transcript, but only the grade for the second try counts. See Course Retake Policy: Office of the Registrar: Indiana University Bloomington

It might depend on which school at IU is financing the scholarship, as the Kelley bulletin says

Extended X Policy
Although students may utilize the Extended X policy for courses taken within the first 45 credit hours for the university GPA, the Kelley School does not recognize the Extended X policy for Kelley School GPA purposes. The Kelley School will calculate both the Extended X grade and the original grade for internal purposes and degree requirements. Students do not receive additional credits for repeating a course. This calculation will apply to admission, graduation, and all categories of academic standing. For further information, please see the guidelines outlined in the Enrollment and Student Academic Information Bulletin.
