<p>I practically have credit for gov310 seeing as I took the AP GOV test in high school - I just haven't taken the texas supplemental test yet.</p>
<p>But gov312 fits into my schedule perfectly so I'm wondering if I can just register for it even though I don't officially have credit for gov310 yet. </p>

You can register ASAP, take it and get result before the deadline to sign for Gov312 class.</p>

<p>Another option is to claim AP credit at community college where you took dual credit classes and submit their credit to UT. In this case UT test is not needed, UT will accept credit from another college.
My daughter did it this way.
Though you probably don’t have much time for this option.</p>
