Can more graduated seniors do "actual results" threads?

prowess:
This is why you got in:
AP National Scholar
National Merit Finalist
Siemens Award for Advanced Placement
USABO Semifinalist
AIME Qualifier

Totally agree with you. Harvard, MIT, Cal Tech, and other schools LOVE, and I want to accentuate that word a million times, Seimons and Intel. I tell you, our school has the most intel semi finalists in the nation, and every semi finalist was accepted into a tier one college.

Althought her SAt and SAT 2 scores were above average.

cooldude, what’s your point?

mk, where are you from?

It is not true that all ivy league schools accept intel/ seimons. A girl was an intel semi, and was rejected from cornell

wow, prowress, congratulations

Relax, I meant no offence to him. Just wanted to point out that URM status probably helped a lot so that those of us non-URMs don’t get carried away. I still think that with his stats it is very difficult for non-URMs especially at MIT. As for Brown, get the average for non-URMs, then we can argue. Remember that average or median you quote is already affected the AA policy!

I’ll just copy and past what I posted before, since you asked for it, rapport:

miracles, do you think it helps if Asians show more interest in the liberal arts than pure sciences?

Probably…as it is with men. I can’t think of many Asian-American writers off of the top of my head for example, and perhaps that is a problem colleges are trying to fix.

thats unfortunate for me then

Well, I wouldn’t say it’s anything like affirmative action. However, they’re looking for diversity, and I don’t think they just want Asian nerds with their heads stuck in math books. Just kidding  But it still holds true. Colleges need balance.

Rapport!! You lazy bum! Just kidding

Hmmm. Can more graduated seniors who actually got some rejections do “actual results” threads?

Miracles, do you plan on joining the symphony orchestra?

“Hmmm. Can more graduated seniors who actually got some rejections do “actual results” threads?”

Maybe some people didn’t get rejected from anywhere…
