<p>So if Columbia does not receive the "Yes I accept your offer to Columbia," does that mean that you forfeit your admissions even though you were originally accepted? Even after May 1st and the person decides that he or she wants to go, he or she cannot resubmit it?</p>

<p>^Officially, that's correct. Or it's more like... if they don't submit by then, they're not GUARANTEED a space.. but I think technically you still can. You might lose financial aid though.</p>

<p>And you are going to UPenn, which is also an awesome school. I regretted that my parents did not let me apply there. =[ Thus, I am waiting for Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford's waitlist.....but I am happy with UCLA........proud to be Bruin but wouldn't mind a Columbian acceptance.....lol</p>
