So I was planning on taking 24 units this quarter (4 over my school's limit), but one of the classes I was planning on taking is full.

My school has a policy that if you want to take excess units, you have to register for the additional class the first week of the session (to be fair to those taking normal amounts of credits).

But of course, due to budget cuts there are only two courses of the class I was planning to take, and both are full. Even the other community college in the area is full also.

The class that I can't get into is Intro to Java, it's a prereq for UCI Biz Econ and I put it on my planned courses for both the TAG and the UC app.

If I don't do them, is that an auto-rejection? I heard you can update it on the January UC app update? When does that come out? I received an email in December which had a link to my application, was that it?

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it.
