I’m bringing a car next year and I’m trying to decide where to park it…Cardinal Gardens is an option for soph. housing so I was wondering, how safe is the parking lot? In terms of not getting your car broken into & such. I’m concerned since the lot is kinda open & can be accessed by anyone (ehem non-students). Is the extra few hundred $$ worth it for PSB (one of the parking structures right across, on campus)? I know anyone can access the structure as well, but you have to stop by the gate/pay a fee/etc. so it’s kind of a deterrent for the wrong people, since I assume they’d prefer quick/easy access…Thanks!
I’m also concerned about the safety of walking back at night. This might sound silly, but should I be more concerned about my car’s safety at the parking lot vs. my own safety walking from the structure at night? I know my own safety’s more important, but what I’m trying to say is, which scenario has the most likely odds (car broken into vs. me being mugged)? Thanks.
