Hello people of CollegeConfidential! I am posting today to try to get some feedback as to my chances at prospective colleges. I've done all the applications and am finishing up the essays; now it's time to wait. But I'm wondering, what do you guys think my chances are?

My information: I am at a community college. My GPA is 3.91 (high school 3.87). My SAT is 2320 (breakdown is 790 reading, 770 math, and 760 writing). I have a job, am taking 20 credits, and have excellent references. My essays are quite good but not perfect.

My prospective schools, in alphabetical order:
Amherst University
Brown University
Columbia University
Cornell University
Dartmouth College
Emory University
Grinnell College
Rice University
University of Pennsylvania
University of Virginia
Vanderbilt University
Washington and Lee University
Washington University in St. Louis
Yale University

Thanks guys!

First off, bump. Secondly, there’s some missing information (oh no)! That being:

I have around 80 credits at the college right now.

I have around 250 hours of community service (most is as a math tutor).

I am applying for financial aid at all of these universities, which I know will alter my chances at all but the need-blind ones.

I am a transfer student! How could I possibly neglect to say that? :)

-Thanks in advance for the replies!

It’s difficult to say. All of those universities are incredibly selective. This is one of those cases where you just might or might not get in. Simply apply and hope for the best. Have you already submitted the essays? If not, I would continue working on them to make them as “perfect” as possible. It could be what makes or breaks you.

@ BlueUkiyo: Thanks for the chancing. Yeah, all of the essays that I hadn’t yet submitted were due today. I know a couple of the essays could be better, but most of them were strong. I don’t want to get in to all of those colleges, I simply want around 4 choices.
@ AnxiousRon: I’m at CC because I was naive in high school and didn’t apply anywhere until the last minute. And I’m glad to hear it! I wasn’t sure because transfers admissions are so much more selective (for some of these).

You literally applied to the most selective universities in the country. You’ll probably get in at least one place.

Thanks TheKongo. I thought so too, but I’m not sure if I’ll have choices. I want to go to an ivy (any listed is one that I like), or Vanderbilt. The reason I asked for chances is because the admission decision deadline on some of my “fallbacks” (Emory, Grinnell) falls before I even get to know if I’m in at my reaches! Therein lies the issue.
