<p>I was wondering what my chances would be to Carnegie Mellon University for a computer science program? I have a 3.5 unweighted GPA, take mostly honors/APs (when available), 33 ACT, and I am awaiting SAT subject tests. 4 on US History AP, 5 Chemistry, 5 Psych, 4 European History. </p>

<p>I am in Kid's Voting, debate, and most importantly Boy Scouts, which consumes a majority of my time. The 3.5 GPA is due to pretty bad grades freshman year, and they have increased vastly. Just wondering what your thoughts are on CMU. I am big into computers and other technology and I'm sure I can write a killer essay that revolves around that. Rec's will be good too.</p>

<p>CS at Carnegie Mellon is a reach for you. Definitley apply, but also consider applying for Electrical Engineering since that is more of a match for you.</p>
