I just posted that in a different thread. Thanks for confirming
How early in the morning was she able to access the admitted student events?
About two hours before her decision came if. I was with her. Wasn’t trying to go there. Clicked the sign up for a campus event. Clicked the calendar on a date the worked and got the form to sign up for the event. It’s funny it’s actually the event that she may be going to. Remember we didn’t know her decision was coming that day. The decision also just popped up a bit later when they told the PPSP finalist decisions(she didn’t apply for that since mech e and theatre but she heard when they did).
Random side note - when you open your letter no confetti but when you go back to the portal it falls and is still falling now.
5 minutes everyone & then the long wait is over! Good luck!
Good luck everyone!!!
EA Deferred, now waitlisted
“We are optimistic that we will be able to grant a number of acceptances to students from the wait list. Over the last three years, an average of 300 students per year were offered admission from the wait list at Case Western Reserve.”
DD moving on
RD waitlisted
Accepted with $29K merit/year for engineering.
Same. EA deferred. Now waitlisted. Big push after EA to switch to ED2., but we decided to lock in.
Under qualified for MIT and over qualified (EA deferred and now waitlisted) for CWRU. Thankfully qualified for many that are in-between. Moving on.
Best to all who had CWRU as their top choice. We will reconvene in 2026 and share our journey.
Waitlisted RD
Ditto - my son is in with $29,000. Plans to study CS.
Admitted with 33k/year scholarship
waitlisted
We decided not to lock in. Moving on now.
In oos 35.5 k per year merit
Same here and luckily DD got other good choices that came in in the meantime. Her enthusiasm started cooling as time went by. So it all works out in the end.
Congratulations to the kids that got in, it is a great school and to everybody else, heads you will find another perfect place.
Waitlisted also. Already in Pitt honors, so that is looking like the best option pending some reach decisions next week.
Same here. Moving on.
Deferred then waitlisted.
