My parents actually own property in both San Jose and Cupertino. Since I went to Cupertino for HS, I guess I'm "from" Cupertino.

I haven't been in CA much since starting college since I was always doing various internships/fellowships and such. In fact, in the last 5 years, I've spent just one summer in California, the summer I spent studying for the MCAT.

does anyone know how the schools which start rolling notification in february tell the student the decision? do they only tell the admitted students in february and wait for the denied students till march/april?

"I endured a nice 23 degree morning. We understand the cold!"
No you don't. That's...not...very...cold. But, of course, you think that's really cold cause you haven't been in colder weather. lol.

hmmmm, I suppose I should have filled out my stats.

I think if I get Cornell and I will be most greatful...the winter will most likely kill me...I'm from the south of India...and incase you guys dont knwo what thats like...I have 2 seasons...Summer and Macho Summer...My cool days are 30...hot ones are 45+...sorry I am talking Celcius here...So someone tell me...I'm screwed right??

dhruv17590, u will be fine. I'm also from south india (but have been living in the Northeast for like 8 yrs now), and it just takes some time to to get used to. And hopefully, considering it is an ivy, Cornell's heaters are working well...

I moved from san jose to canada to pittsburgh. so yeah..my meteorological background is diverse..i would gladly handle it..even if it was freezing..if i got in!!!!!!!!

their heaters work so well that sometimes you'll be sweating in class :<

sometimes i had to open my dorm room window to catch some air too!

how cold is cornell compared to southern canada? becuase yes it does get cold here and snows alot too, but from what I hear cornell weather sounds really really cold.

bump
How is Ithaca weather compared to Albany weather?
I've heard that Ithaca winters are even worse than Albany winters... is that possible? ><

if you go to weather.com or google "winter average temperatures in Ithaca NY" you will get detailed information on average temperatures and precipitation in Ithaca NY...not someone's opinion on weather but documented, recorded averages.

I assume you can then do this exact same scientific process to "discover" the average weather in Albany, or Florida, or Southern California, or India or Southern Canada or any place else...
