<p>My parents actually own property in both San Jose and Cupertino. Since I went to Cupertino for HS, I guess I'm "from" Cupertino. </p>
<p>I haven't been in CA much since starting college since I was always doing various internships/fellowships and such. In fact, in the last 5 years, I've spent just one summer in California, the summer I spent studying for the MCAT.</p>

<p>dhruv17590, u will be fine. I'm also from south india (but have been living in the Northeast for like 8 yrs now), and it just takes some time to to get used to. And hopefully, considering it is an ivy, Cornell's heaters are working well...</p>

<p>how cold is cornell compared to southern canada? becuase yes it does get cold here and snows alot too, but from what I hear cornell weather sounds really really cold.</p>

How is Ithaca weather compared to Albany weather?
I've heard that Ithaca winters are even worse than Albany winters... is that possible? ><</p>
<p>if you go to weather.com or google "winter average temperatures in Ithaca NY" you will get detailed information on average temperatures and precipitation in Ithaca NY...not someone's opinion on weather but documented, recorded averages.</p>
<p>I assume you can then do this exact same scientific process to "discover" the average weather in Albany, or Florida, or Southern California, or India or Southern Canada or any place else...</p>
