I applied RD, and then my ancient ghetto cell phone decided to stop working. I'm trying to figure out what's the best service to get for each of the schools I applied to. How are T-mobile and verizon? any other suggestions?

I visited oberlin and i have tmoblie... it worked fine but it started having some "emergency only areas" in the dorms and dorm rooms so i might just have to change. I heard that cingulair is the way to go... esp the go phone because u don't get a contract... so thats my two cents.... tell me when u get in, i'm going there next year!

My daughter has Verizon there and it seems to work pretty well.

Verizon seems to be the most popular on campus, since it has the best coverage. I have Cingular, which works well enough in most areas. Inside some buildings, I'm out of luck. I hear the coverage is better on South Campus. Don't know as much about T-mobile, but some students have their service.

my son is there and has sprint and his phone works a lot of the time but in certain buildings doesn't, unless it's just that he's avoiding our calls. :)
