Hey guys, anyone know who has a better performance in Binghamton area?
I'm using Sprint now, and my contract ends this Oct.
Just wondering if T-mobile or any other company will be a better choice there.
Thx!

I've heard that Verizon is good.
And that t-mobile is decent, but the lecture halls don't get reception...

I second Verizon - my cell worked very well when I visited.

I have verizon and can't complain (I'm a soph)

Not T-Mobile. Definitely not T-mobile. Especially if you plan utilizing the airport. My phone got a good 0 bars there. I actually had to borrow one of my friend's phones (he had Sprint, figures).

thx!
btw, how abt banks? i may need to open a new account when i get there.

M&T Bank has a branch on campus, as well as several ATMs. There's plenty of information at Vendor Relations

m&t is also now offering a college checking account in addition to the types of accounts listed on that vendor website -- https://services.mandtbank.com/personal/daily/checking_college.cfm

is M&T also a good one for credit cards?

any other input on the cell phone coverage?

my contract w/ sprint is up and idk which carrier to switch to, im leaning towards verizon or att but the actual service in bing is the most important factor...

Go with Verizon.

How's ATT/Cingular up there?

Bad. On your way, if you break down, you might be stranded.
