Your stats are amazing. I would be shocked if you don’t get into one of the top schools. How can you brother have stronger stats than this? He must be at a great school himself. Also, 50 points difference on the SAT won’t make or break decisions. Good luck! :)

Harvard-Reach, but great chance

With a resume and application like yours, you should have a very good chance at most of those schools. Why are the people around you so negative? They have NO reason to be.

YOU are one of those who filled their slots!
Who ARE those negative people anyhow? Do they work at admissions offices for super elites, HYPS??? Don’t listen to them.

You have great chances! I would call you a match for your top schools, except Caltech (same reason as the poster before-- b/c that doesn’t seem to be your interest)

hahaha thanks! yeah our rodeo is pretty famous, but i have never been. I guess that people who live in a town don’t often go to the things their town is famous for. Like New yorkers and the statue of liberty or somethin’.

Since many people have already chanced you, I can help you with the scholarship thing for LSU.

First off, I hope you already applied to LSU b/c the admission people at LSU would be idiots if they accept you ,and you give you enough money for a free ride.

It also helps that you want to go into engineering. LSU has an excellent engineering program, and the school offers out big bucks.
